Maple Spring term

This term Maple Class have been very busy taking part in a range of lessons and activities linked to the theme ‘Transport’.

In our history lessons we looked at the history of transport and we created our own transport timeline. We also created our own junk model cars in our design and technology lessons.

In our cookery lessons the pupils enjoyed designing and creating their own pizzas, they used a range of learnt skills to create their toppings and used the oven safely to cook their pizza.

Some pupils have been attending Preston Trampoline centre for their trampoline lessons, pupils have been following the rules of the centre to safely access the apparatus and have been listening to instructions to perform a variety of jumps on the trampoline.

In February some of our pupils took part in a 2-night residential or day place at Bendrigg Trust. They took part in a range of activities such as rock climbing, abseiling, zip wire, caving, and archery. The pupils were fantastic and supported each other to take part in all the activities.
