Welcome back to another exciting school year!

We have spent the term getting to know new faces and building relationships with new peers and adults.

In PSHE, we have discovered who we care about. We looked at different pictures of people/characters and decided if they were important to us. We also looked at pictures of our family and friends as they are the most important people in our lives.

In Literacy, we have been reading structured tales such as Goldilocks, Three Little Pigs and The Enormous Turnip. This enabled us to inform others of what happened in each story. For example, we used communication aids to indicate the materials the pigs used to build their houses.

We have already worked super hard in Math’s. We have covered number recognition and representation, shape and position and direction. We enjoyed searching for different shapes around the classroom, even identifying 3D shapes such as cubes and spheres.

In PE, we have worked super hard on our Fundamental Movement Skills. We looked at running, jumping, balancing, throwing, hopping, skipping and kicking. We played different games which incorporated these movements. We have also enjoyed our first half term with PNEFC community coaches. They will be continuing to work with us throughout the academic year, giving us a consistent session to develop our Fundamental Movement Skills.

We have also continued with weekly CE and hydrotherapy sessions.
